Guadalajara, JAL
Just rolled into Guadalajara, Jalisco, a few hours ago. Â It was a long day, I usually spend no more than 4 or 5 hours pedaling, today was 8 hours on the bike up and down the mountains, and entering into the largest city so far on my trip.
The past few days have felt a little rushed, squeezing so many miles in has meant too much time on the bike and very little to get to know the placed I’ve passed through.  But I wanted to get to Guadalajara as soon as I could as  I’ll be taking a bus into Mexico City for Christmas which is only a few days away, and I needed to get to a place where I could leave my bike for a week or two.  I’m looking forward to being back in Mexico City and seeing friends.
Where are you leaving Juniper? I hope you make it to the DF safely and in time for Christmas. Enjoy the time with friends in a familiar city!
Way to go Matto. I hope you are really able to rest and relax in DF. Merry Christmas.
We enjoyed time with your mom, dad, Carl and Karen in Oct. Best wishes for a fun Christmas in el DF. We’re following your adventures. Good for you! Will look forward to hearing about your time in Oaxaca. Kristen, John and Martine

Hey Matthew, So where will you spend your Prospero Ano Nuevo? Hadn’t checked you blog in the last couple of weeks. So I assume the Pan Am also passes through Oaxaca? Keep on keeping on!
